Freakshakes and Other Frozen Treats to Serve this Halloween

Freakshake Machine

Whether you own a Spaceman soft serve machine or a frozen beverage machine, it’s time to diversify what you’ve been offering. Halloween is slowly creeping up on us, and that means people are willing to consume things they wouldn’t normally eat or drink.  We’re here to propose some unique ideas to make in your Spaceman USA machine this month, because in October, you can get away with making crazy frozen concoctions that might be seen as peculiar during any other time of the year.

Freakshakes

If you’ve never heard of a freakshake before, it’s one of those milkshake monstrosities that you might need an army to finish. People love freakshakes, not only because of the name, but because they are insta-worthy and provide consumers with an exciting, texture-packed dessert. You can easily make a freakshake if you have a Spaceman USA frozen beverage machine. With the proper milkshake ingredients and the correct brix level, you can put just about any milkshake mixture into your machine. The milkshake isn’t the best part though – it’s all the crazy toppings and candies that come with it. Normally in a freakshake, popular toppings may include pretzels, marshmallows, pieces of cake, cookies, and/or donuts, but for a Halloween shake, the horizons are even broader. We recommend adding things like candy corn, candy eyeballs, gummy worms, syringes, and even edible vampire fangs.

Halloween Frozen Cocktails

Another great idea if you have a Spaceman USA frozen beverage machine is to make Halloween themed frozen cocktails. You can do this by making a fall flavored frozen slushie like the ones we wrote about here, or by changing the container that it comes in. Regular containers for slushies typically include glasses or plastic cups, but when the holidays roll around, it’s fun to step outside of the box. Some Halloween cup ideas may include carved out pumpkins, cauldrons, or even potion bottles. We made a frozen apple cider margarita inside of a pumpkin which you can check out here, and it tasted even better than it looked!

Halloween Inspired Soft Serve

Just because summer is over, doesn’t mean people aren’t still delving into soft serve. There’s a lot you can do to liven up this sweet snack for Halloween, and we’re here to give you some ideas. Of course, the most obvious thing is to make fall-flavored soft serve. You can find some flavor inspo in one of our previous articles here. Besides new flavors, you can also present the soft serve in a more fun manner, like by placing a cone upside down in a cup to make it resemble a character. Ikea did something like this a few years back, and the response was great. The Museum of Ice Cream (or as they say, The Museum of I Scream!) is offering a black soft serve this month which can be seen here. Something as simple as a mouth-staining black ice cream may be eerie enough to intrigue customers, since it’s not something you see all the time. We hope this month you use your Spaceman USA machine to its full advantage by making treats that consumers have been longing for all year. Remember, it’s not only about what’s coming out of your Spaceman machine, but also the presentation and appearance of your treat
